King Khalid Hospital in Najran has made a breakthrough when a medical team specialized in neurosurgery, managed to end the suffering of a lady in her eighth decade, with inability to stand as a result of sever weakness of lower limbs, nervous pain and limb tension since three months. A magnetic resonance imaging test showed existence of sporadic tumors in the spinal cord at the level of the thoracic and lumbar vertebrae. Then the patient underwent a delicate surgery under the microscope where the tumors were excised completely. Since the first days of physiotherapy sessions her nervous pain disappeared and general condition improved and left the hospital in good health. She was referred to the physiotherapy center for further physiotherapy and rehabilitation sessions.
