According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), around 15,930 patients have visited the emergency department at Al-Qurayyat General Hospital during last February, and received required therapeutic and ambulatory services. They are distributed as follows: 1,558 cases were hospitalized at the internal medicine and surgery sections and ICU, 152 at traffic accidents section and 431 delivery cases refereed to obstetrics and gynecology section.
The emergency department services, which are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, cover all villages in the region. Also, the department provides a number of therapeutic services, ranging from the minor surgeries such suturing to serious cases such as multiple injuries and other emergency cases.
