5,200 Cases Seen by Health Surveillance Center at King Fahad Airport in Dammam Handles 5,200 Cases

Eastern Region Health Affairs' Health Surveillance Center at King Fahad International Airport in Dammam has seen more than 861 field emergency cases at the airport, in addition to 2,365 patients at the center's clinics.
 
According to the Ministry of Health (MOH) the total number of cases that received medical services at the center during the last six months, amounted to more than 5,200 cases, including patients and referred emergency ceases, in addition to vaccination of travellers via the airport totaling 1,755 persons during the same period. The number of the field cases handled by employees of the airport's health surveillance center amounted to 182 cases out of which 33 cases have been transferred by the center ambulance to different hospitals.
 
It said the center handles both therapeutic and preventive aspects and provides its services to the users of the airport whether travellers or employees of different sections of the airport, adding that 17 doctors and technicians provide services to patients throughout the day, including emergency cases and vaccination for travellers and treatment of some cases.
