According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), a medical team at Wadi Al-Dawasir Province General Hospital has succeeded in saving the life of a man injured in a traffic accident that caused him fractures of the bones of the skull, and the knee cap, accompanied by heavy bleeding and severe laceration in parts of his body.
The patient, in his thirties, was first received at the emergency department, with a broken skull bones, heavy bleeding from one of the main arteries of the brain and laceration to the joint and knee cap and tissues. Considering the seriousness of his case, the medical team decided to send him to the operations department where they managed to remove the blood pooling and stop the bleeding, repairing brain membranes and fixing the broken bone, thanks to Allah.
Upon remarkable improvement in the patient's health, the ventilator was taken off him and transferred to other sections for regular follow-up by doctors. The patient is expected to leave the hospital in the next few days, Allah willing.
