A general surgery team at King Faisal Medical Complex in Taif, led by Consultant General Surgery Dr. Muhammad Al-Ghailani, has managed to end the suffering of a woman with persistent lower abdomen pain. For almost 4 months the woman, in her forties, have taken large quantities of pain killers in an attempt to relieve her pain, before decided to visit the hospital for medical help. A CT scan, binoculars diagnostic of the stomach and intestines and biopsies demonstrated the presence of intestine cancerous tumor (between duodenum and jejunum), of 4 - 5 cm long. In a surgical operation the tumor was removed, and within several days her condition stabilized and left the hospital in good health, thanks to Allah.
