More than 28.000 Beneficiaries of Services of the Emergency Section at King Abdulaziz Hospital in Jeddah
21 February 2017
The Emergency Section at King Abdulaziz Hospital in Jeddah has received more than 28,000 cases and beneficiaries over the past three months. These cases included patients and surgical cases, in addition to other injuries resulting from traffic and non-traffic accidents.

It is worth mentioning that all sections of the hospital have provided their therapeutic services required to patients and frequent visitors around the clock. As statistics show the amount of work and health services provided to beneficiaries, identify the daily medical service requirements, and give the indicators of performance efficiency in the various sections of the hospital. Furthermore, Jeddah Health Affairs General Directorate seeks to promote the performance level and follow up the quality assurance in the hospital’s medical and therapeutic services. Thus, the Emergency Section has achieved a paradigm shift through the emergency developmental plan in the hospital. Furthermore, there is a future attempt to expand this section, by means of the allocation of a separate building for emergency; in an endeavor to provide its services to critical cases, children, women, and stroke cases, as well as the availability of isolation rooms.
