The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) has accredited the Saudi Specialty Certification Program in Psychiatry for Al Amal and Mental Health Hospital in Jazan, for four years, starting from the beginning of October 2017. This came after the Psychiatry Section in the hospital has passed the assessment criteria set by the SCHS.
It is worth mentioning that the program will provide the opportunity for those people of Jazan, who are willing to specialize in psychiatry, to get it that without the need to travel to other regions. Furthermore, the program will contribute to developing and promoting the level of health services provided by the hospital, in terms of offering an increase in the number of specialist health cadres, as well as providing educational and training courses regularly and continuously.
