Successful Laparoscopic Surgery at KKH in Tabuk Saves the Life of Boy Who Swallowed Nail

A medical team at King Khalid Hospital (KKH) in Tabuk has managed to save the life of a six-month-old boy, who swallowed a nail that blocked his respiratory tract. At first, the boy was brought to the emergency section. Then examinations and x-ray tests have been conducted to him, which showed the presence of a 1.5 cm nail inside his respiratory tract. The child was immediately admitted to the operating room, and underwent a laparoscopic surgery. Finally, the nail has been extracted, and the child is in a good health, May Allah be praised.
