Thanks to Allah, the live of a resident in his twenties, who has been stabbed by a sharp object, was saved after the intervention of a specialized surgical team at Prince Abul Mohsen Hospital in Ula Province, Madinah Region.
The young man was received at the emergency section, suffering from a terrible shock and acute circulatory failure as a result of the stab to his body that caused him deep wounds to the abdomen and the bowels coming out through them, along with severe bleeding.
After a quick CPR by a surgical team led by the hospital surgery consultant, a laparotomy procedure was performed on him in the operating room before dealing with the bleeding and multiple wounds. Then he was transferred to the ICU to provide him with the necessary care and monitoring his health condition. The surgery was successful and the patient was discharged with stable condition.
