Minister of Health Approves Excellence Allowance for MOH’s Employees

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, has approved the excellence allowance for 21,300 Saudi health practitioners, who didn’t receive it previously, including employees of the Ministry of Health (MOH) and its different health sectors, as well as those working on the self-employment program.
 
The MOH underscored that it has embarked again to offer the excellence allowance for the period from 25/12/1431H until the end of 09/03/1436H, for those Saudi health practitioners who did not receive it during the years (1435H, 1434H, 1433H, or earlier).
 
The Ministry underlined that the excellence allowances are offered for Saudi health practitioners of their various specialties and job categories (physicians – pharmacists - no-physician specialists – medical assistant cadres), and their job grades; including physicians group (consultant - locum tenant – resident), dentist group (consultant - locum tenant – general practitioner), pharmacist group (consultant – senior pharmacist – pharmacist), non-physician specialist (consultant – senior specialist – specialist), and medical assistant cadres (technologist - technician – health assistant).
 
Within the same vein, the MOH highlighted that the excellence allowance aims at honoring those who are outstanding in their work fields and motivating all employees at different health facilities and institutions, as well as modifying the work culture and environment from its typical from; in an endeavor to achieve the work quality with instant improvement of performance.
