30 October 2016

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has ended the suffering of a 40-year-old patient, who had been suffering from hematuria and bladder dysfunction.

The MOH has pointed out that a 40-year-old patient, suffering from hematuria and abdominal pain, had been admitted to King Khalid General Hospital (KKGH) in Hafr Al-Batin. Then, he had undergone lab tests, radiography and CT scan, which indicated bladder cancer (with size 4*3 cm). Thus, he had undergone a laparoscopic bladder tumor resection surgery, which lasted an hour. He had been discharged from the hospital the next day of the surgery.

It is worth mentioning that hat the Hematuria (Blood in the Urine) has many reasons, depending on the situation, including kidney infection, urinary tract infection, kidney stones, and urinary tract stones, or as a result of enlarged prostate or bladder tumors.
