MOH Boosts Homeland Soldiers on the Kingdom’s Southern Border

The hospitals, affiliated to the Ministry of Health (MOH) in the southern areas of the Kingdom, keep on providing their health services around the clock to beneficiaries through many health programs at hospitals and health care centers. Besides, the MOH’s efforts are combined together with all government sectors according to a comprehensive and an integrated unified strategy, which are to be activated in such circumstances.
 
Within the same vein, Najran Health Affairs Directorate has implemented the Homeland Soldiers Nursing Program, which includes the formation of a national team visiting the camps of our brave soldiers on the southern border; in order to provide them with nursing care services (therapeutic, psychological and preventive). This is can be carried out by means of measuring the vital signs (pulse rate, body temperature, respiration rate) and blood sugar, as well as providing emotional and health support and health education. The program also promotes the awareness on how to deal with bleeding and injuries; with a view to promoting the level of emergency culture and the proper dealing with emergency cases. The program also includes the provision of ambulatory bags and the distribution of awareness publications for homeland soldiers.
