MOH Concludes Laboratories and Blood Banks Training Courses during Hajj Season

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has concluded on last Monday Sept. 4th, 2016 (corresponding to Dhu al-Hijjah 3rd, 1437H) all laboratories and blood banks training courses organized by the Laboratories and Blood Banks General Department in cooperation with the Training and Scholarships General Department and health affairs directorates in Makkah and Madinah regions, during the Hajj season. The most prominent of them are: sampling, collecting, transfusing, and processing blood training course held at the training hall of King Abdullah Medical City, safety of blood transfusion held at training hall of Alnoor Specialist Hospital, in addition to bio-molecules cycle (PCR) training course, held at the training hall of  Alnoor Specialist Hospital and safety of blood transfusion held at the health tent, as well as ensuring application of proper procedures in laboratories and blood banks training course.
 
It is noteworthy that the training courses targeted 800 trainees working in the field of laboratories and blood banks in each of Makkah and Madinah, who are participating in serving pilgrims.
