His Excellency the Vice Minister of Health, Mr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al-Doweila‘, has visited the College of Pharmacy at King Saud University to review means of cooperation between the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the college, in order to upgrade the standard of health services provided for patients.
He was received by the Dean of the College Dr. Hisham bin Saad Al-Jadhey and college deputies, and discussed with them means of cooperation between the college and the MOH, including using researches' outcomes to upgrade pharmaceutical practices in the health sector, conducting researches with the aim of optimal usage of drugs, making use of laboratory equipment in the college, in addition to other projects for upgrading the health sector particularly in the pharmaceutical field. They also discussed the projects of the pharmaceutical safety research chair.
At the end of the visit he toured the college's facilities, including the central laboratory and got acquainted with the laboratory's equipment and projects. He also visited the research chair of pharmaceutical security.
During the visit the vice minister was accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Therapeutic Services, Dr. Tareef Alaama, and the Supervisor-General of Private Sector Affairs Dr. Fayadh Al-Dandashi and Director-General of Pharmaceutical Care Dr. Yahya Al-Sewaih.
