MOH: Registration for Field Epidemiology Diploma Now Open

The Ministry of Health (MOH), represented by the Field Epidemiology Program affiliated to the Agency of Public Health, has announced opening the door to enroll into the Diploma of Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) for the coming academic year 2016-2017, starting from March 10th to April 14th, 2016 (corresponding to Jumada Al-Akhera 1st to Rajab 7th, 1437H). The program is organized by the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine at King Saud University (KSU) in Riyadh.
The Ministry has pointed out that admission tests and interviews will be performed for applicants at the Department of Family & Community Medicine affiliated to the Faculty of Medicine, KSU in Riyadh. Besides, the Ministry highlighted that applicants for this program are required to be Saudis and having a bachelor's degree in medicine with a grade-point average of not less than “Good”. Furthermore, the applicants should be totally free for the Program and pass the admission tests and interviews. The approval of the applicant’s employee to join the program is necessary. Just one applicant from the Ministry of Health in each of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Yemen is allowed to join this program annually.
The Ministry called upon those applicants, willing to join the Program, to send all required documents to the Graduate Center affiliated to the Faculty of Medicine, KSU in Riyadh.
