MOH Organizes 3 Workshops in Jazan to Hone Skills of Quick Response Teams for Disasters

As part of its training activities for the year 1437H, the Ministry of Heath’s (MOH) Agency for Human Resources, represented by the Training and Scholarship General Department, has recently organized three advanced training workshops, using the virtual experiences at Jazan Health Affairs Directorate. These workshops came within the framework of the MOH’s keenness to hone the skills of health practitioners at its health facilities.
 
The workshops focused on how to deal and take care of the airway, as well as the quick response to crises and disasters. Sixty physicians and health practitioners working in the front rows in Jazan region have been trained in the workshops. The first workshop focused on training the operating rooms staff and anesthesia crews on how to deal with the difficult cases of tracheostomy and tracheal intubation, using health simulation. As for the second and third workshops, they touched upon training the workers of quick response teams for disasters, urgent cases and critical cases.
 
The Deputy Minister for Human Resources, Mr. Abdul-Hadi Al-Mansouri, has pointed out that the Ministry is so keen with training the health cadres, especially the field health practitioners., He added that this comes through organizing and holding several activities, training workshops and practical programs, which are available locally and internationally, using the latest technology and the scientifically validated methods of education and training; in an endeavor to improve and promote dealing with human performance, in such a manner that positively reflects on the level of health services.
