Page Content
The Director-General of the Follow-up at the Ministry of Health (MOH), Fayeh bin Rajeh Al-Jabaly has lauded the support and directives of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Eng. Khalid Al-Falih, to the Follow-up Departments, which contributes to activating their supervision role throughout the regions and provinces, medical cities and specialized hospitals, as well as addressing the issues of administrative and financial corruption through an array of administrative resolutions, including confronting the negative factors impeding the supervision processes.
Al-Jabaly added that the resolutions include that the director of follow-up is to be assigned at the relevant health departments through a fixed methodology based on transparency and efficiency, and to be relieved of his position through a distinct mechanism. They also include coordination with the Follow-up General Department in all issues related to administrative and financial complaints, and the rules of terminating the employees of the Ministry through an identified regulatory mechanism in addition to the regulation of litigation procedures in bribery, embezzlement and administrative and financial irregularities issues.
During the workshop which was held recently, in the presence of 30 trainees from the Follow-up Department, Al-Jabaly reviewed the duties and responsibilities of the Follow-up Department and its organizational structure. He also briefed the trainees on the index developed for the MOH’s Follow-up Departments, as well as studying and assessing the potentials and needs of the Follow-up Department at Jeddah Health Affairs Directorate by applying the indicators form, which is specially set for this purpose.
Besides, Al-Jabaly chaired a meeting, which is attended by the staff of the Follow-up Department, and discussed in details the role of the Department and obstacles facing them. He expressed his readiness, with his staff, to solve everything that impedes the work, and eliminate all obstacles during a short time in order to enable the Department to assume its duties and responsibilities easily and conveniently.
