The National Program for Combating Diabetes has recently organized an awareness and educational event for the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) employees at the MOH main hall, about diabetes early detection and examination, under the theme: “I concern about diabetes”.
The Director of National Program for Combating diabetes, Dr. Fatima Al-Solail, has pointed out that this event, which lasted for three consecutive days, aims at raising health awareness on diabetes risk factors. She added that this event comprised some activities, such as conducting vital signs, measuring blood pressure level, and testing random and cumulative blood glucose, in order to check body mass index (BMI), in addition to the distribution of educational brochures to MOH’s employees.
