The 3rd training course and workshops on “Technique of Using Insulin Pump”, which were organized by Diabetes Centers and Units Department affiliated to Hospitals General Department at the Ministry of Health (MOH), targeting the staff of its Diabetes Centers and Units, have recently wrapped up in Riyadh.
The training course aims at qualifying medical teams, accredited by MOH, on treating using insulin pump. Thus, 9 new medical teams have been trained to treat by using this technology, bringing the total number of the teams receiving training at the first, second and third sessions to 31 teams from MOH's hospitals in all regions of the Kingdom.
It is worth mentioning that this training comes as part of the MOH's efforts to improve its staff performance and train them on the latest medical devices and techniques, in such a manner that promotes the health services quality provided to patients. Hence, the MOH has provided all modern equipment and qualified manpower required to bring about a quantum leap in terms of the services provided to diabetics and to attain the highest satisfaction level of beneficiaries from such services in the different regions of the Kingdom.
