As part of the events carried out by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on the occasion of the World Diabetes Day, which is observed this year under the theme: “Healthy Living and Diabetes”, the MOH Health Information Center, will host, from 1:00 a.m. to p.m., via its toll-free number: 8002494444 and through the MOH account on Facebook and Twitter: @SAUDIMOH, an elite of physicians; to answer all callers’ inquiries’, and provide them with health tips and guidelines, as well as ways to maintain the public health in general and to prevent and deal with diabetes in particular.
The MOH Health Information Center will host tomorrow, Monday, November 16th, 2015 (corresponding to Safar 4th, 1437H), Dr. Safiah Al-Sherbini, an endocrinology and diabetes consultant. Besides, it will host the Director of the National Center for Diabetes Control, Dr. Fatimah Al-Salil, on Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 (corresponding to Safar 6th, 1437H), and Dr. Hasna Al-Shammari, a specialist in therapeutic nutrition, on Thursday, November 19th, 2015 (corresponding to Safar 7th, 1437H).
It is worth mentioning that the pharmacists and female nutrition specialists at the MOH Health Information Center will be fully ready during the official working hours throughout the week, to answer the public enquires about all diseases and all that is related to nutrition, medication and others, via the Center’s toll-free number.
