Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Hospital (PMAH), in Riyadh, launched yesterday, Sunday, a Medication Re-dispensing Service via WhatsApp, so that patients wouldn't have to come in person and wait.
This came as part of the Saudi Pharmacist Day activities organized by the Pharmaceutical Care Section at PMAH, in collaboration with Patient Services Department, and Drug Education and Pharmaceutical Media Committee at Riyadh Health Affairs General Directorate. The event was attended by the Executive Director for Medical Affairs at PMAH, Dr. Sameeh Ghazal.
Re-dispensing requests will be received during the official working hours, between 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (on official workdays). A message will be sent within 48 hours to the outpatient, who can also submit his request a week prior to the re-dispensing date.
