Under the Chairmanship of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, the Hajj Preparatory Committees Assessment Meeting will be held on Sunday, in Madinah. The meeting will be attended by His Excellency the Vice Minister of Health, the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) senior officials and the heads of Hajj preparatory committees.
This was announced by the MOH Spokesman, Mr. Faisal Al-Zahrani, who indicated that the meeting aims at reviewing the lessons learned from the last year Hajj season (1436 H.), and drafting early plans for 1437H-Hajj season. He pointed out that the meeting is to discuss numerous positive actions that have been achieved during 1436H-Hajj season in order to replicate and promote them, as well as identifying the challenges, difficulties, and obstacles faced by the working teams; in an endeavor to develop the appropriate solutions to avoid them during the next Hajj season.
Al-Zahrani added that this is a regular meeting, held annually upon the end of Hajj season, to study and assess the work of the Ministry, the performance of its facilities, and the health services provided for pilgrims.
