Saudi Scouts Help Pilgrims inside the Holy Sites’ Hospital
22 September 2015
The Saudi scouts seize the opportunity to serve pilgrims in a number of the Holy Sites’ hospitals, as a large number of them were dispatched to different hospitals of the Ministry of Health.

This came as part of the MOH’s annual plan to provide this opportunity for the Saudi boy scouts in a bid to achieve a number of goals, atop of which are serving pilgrims and finalizing some routine tasks instead of the MOH’s personnel, who have other specialized and more important tasks to accomplish.

For his part, the leader of the scout number (550) at Mina Emergency Hospital, Khalid Ahmed al-Shehri, said his tasks include guiding pilgrims inside the hospital, arranging their rows and keeping order. “Once the pilgrim enters the hospitals, a scout guides him to the hand sanitizer, meanwhile explaining the proper method of use,” he said, adding that then the pilgrim is taken to the reception desk, where he is guided to the appropriate section. Al-Shehri praised facilities provided by the hospital’s administration to help Saudi scouts implement their organizational plans during this period.
