24 June 2015
Under Operation Renewal of Hope, the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz - may Allah protect him - keeps exerting strenuous efforts to provide help for the brotherly people of Yemen. To that effect, the Ministry of Health (MOH), represented by Najran Health Affairs General Directorate, has provided its therapeutic services over the past four days for a total of 63 Yemenis; including 26 males and 37 females. As a result, the health status of 38 cases have improved, and were discharged from the health facilities. Besides, 25 cases have been hospitalized to increase the total number of the patients, who have received therapeutic services at Sharurah border crossing, to 1.1614 cases so far, of them 144 cases are still being hospitalized in the region.

Moreover, the MOH therapeutic services have been provided for 2.521 Yemenis at Al-Wadiya border crossing,  and the preventive services, including vaccines and immunizations, have been provided for 3.450 people; that is to be added to providing many preventive and  health awareness programs, including life-saving programs for workers and volunteers.

It is worth mentioning that the MOH health facilities at the southern borderline have been provided with the best modern equipment and the qualified medical teams, especially in the emergency and IC sections. Over and above, the hospitals at the southern regions keep on providing their health services around the clock for the beneficiaries; by means of many health programs at hospitals and healthcare centers. This reflects the ongoing support and keen interest shown by the wise leadership in the health sector, so as to provide health care for the citizens and residents.
