Dr. Al-Azmi to Open the 6th International Critical Care Conference Tomorrow

On behalf of the Acting Minister of Health, Mr. Muhammad bin Abdul-Malik Al ash-Shaikh, the Assistant Deputy Minister of Health for Hospitals’ Affairs, Dr. Nehar Al-Azmi, will open tomorrow (Tuesday) the 6th International Critical Care Conference. The three-day event will be organized by the Saudi Critical Care Society at Prince Sultan Hall in Al Faisaliyah Hotel.
 
The conference is considered one of the important events in the Middle East in the field of critical care, in terms of the number of attendees and participants, as well as the diversity of speakers, supporting companies and subjects, which will cover the latest developments in the field of critical care worldwide.
 
The Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Dr. Ameen Muhammad Yousif, explained that the conference will witness the participation of many local and international scientific and specialized associations, such as the American Association of Critical-Care, European Association of Critical-Care, Saudi Heart Association, Neurology and Stroke Association, Association of Critical-Care Nurses, Saudi Society for Respiratory Care and many other specialized associations (12 local and international associations), by a group of specialists in the field of critical care from the Kingdom and other world countries.
 
The conference will discuss a number of issues related to intensive care specialties such as intensive care for adults, intensive care for children, nursing intensive care, neurology intensive care, clinical nutrition, respiratory care, in addition to other issues related to critical care and its relation to the community, such as the issue of brain death. A special session will be held to discuss the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome-Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) and its latest developments.
