His Excellency the Minister of Health, Mr. Ahmad bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb, met at his ministerial office today “Sunday” with the Egyptian Ambassador to the Kingdom, Mr. Afifi Abdul-Wahhab.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to reinforce cooperation between the two sides, especially in the health domain and the exchange of medical expertise. Besides, Mr. Al-Khateeb highlighted the deeply rooted historical relationship between both countries.
Within the same vein, Mr. Abdul-Wahhab lauded the Saudi unique expertise in mass gathering medicine during Hajj and Umrah seasons.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Vice Minister for Planning and Development, Dr. Muhammad Khoshaim, and the Medical Counselor at the Egyptian Embassy, Dr. Hisham Sheiha.
