MOH launches the E-Verification of the Delivery of Expats’ Screening Results Service
11 March 2015
As part of the e-services offered by the Ministry of Health (MOH), the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) has launched the E-Verification of the Delivery of Expats’ Screening Results Service. It is one of the services provided by “Efada” Program; aiming at automating the registration and submission of expats’ screening results to the Passports Authority, in such a manner ensuring transparency and quick action.

This service will save the time and efforts of citizens as it will allow them to electronically verify the submission of expats’ screening results to the Passports Authority, without the need to head for the hospital of health center, in case the SMS of sending the status and screening result had not been received.

The aforementioned service aims at easing the process of registration and submission of the expats’ screening results electronically from the health facilities accredited by the MOH to the database of the Passports Authority in order to review them anytime through the system.

It is worth mentioning that the MOH has faced many challenges and problems while apply procedures applicable along time ago, including examining expats at hospitals and medical facilities accredited by the MOH, whether governmental or private; that is to be added to the complexity of the traditional paper-based procedures, which were requiring visitors to personally deliver papers and follow up their transactions in several stages, the matter exposing such papers to possible loss or damage, etc.
