MOH National Center for Media and Health Awareness to Host a Constellation of Consultants in Communicable Diseases

For the second consecutive week of the interactive program dubbed: “Scientific Details on Coronavirus”, and as part of the strenuous efforts carried out by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to promote heath awareness about Coronavirus, the National Center for Media and Health Awareness will host a constellation of consultants and specialists in the communicable diseases and infection control from different health sectors as of next Sunday, February 22nd, 2015 (corresponding to Jumada I 3rd, 1436 H).
 
These consultants and specialists will be hosted to clear up the scientific details on the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus (MERS-CoV), in addition to answering all inquiries on this disease, ways of its transmission, what should be done in case of infection with the virus and all what should be known on this disease and others.
 
This program comes within the framework of the interactive awareness activities carried out by the MOH National Center for Media and Health Awareness; in an endeavor to answer all citizens and residents’ inquiries, via the Center’s toll free: 8002494444, and the MOH Twitter account: @saudimoh.
 
The Director of the MOH National Center for Media and Health Awareness, Ph. Amal bint Mo'aweyah Abu Al-Jadail, pointed out that the Center will host Dr. Nesreen al-Sherbini, a Consultant in Communicable and Epidemic Diseases next Sunday, February 22nd, 2015 (corresponding to Jumada I 3rd, 1436 H), and Prof. Abdullah Al-Huqail, a Consultant in Communicable Diseases on Monday. Furthermore, the Center will host Dr. Sami Al-Hajjar, a Professor of Pediatrics and Communicable and Viral Diseases, on Thursday, and Dr. Meqbel Al-Hudaithy, a Consultant in Infectious Diseases, on Wednesday. This Constellation of consultants will be hosted in order to answer all inquiries during the program’s period, via the Center’s toll free, daily from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
 
It is worth mentioning that health awareness female specialists will be available daily from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to answer all callers’ inquiries on Coronavirus, via the Center’s toll free; that is to be added to an integrated team of health awareness female specialists, who will be available around the clock to answer all inquiries of visitors of the MOH Twitter account: @saudimoh.
