Kuwaiti Health Minister: the Conference Positively Impacts on the Health Services, Raises the Quality Level

His Excellency the Kuwaiti Minister of Health, Dr. Ali Saad Al-Obeidi affirmed that the GCC Health Ministers Council made, over its forty-year march, great achievements. And, the Council, through its Executive Board, managed to unify many of the Gulf health efforts. This in turn left positive impact on the Gulf citizen. 
 
In a press statement following the opening of the 78th Conference of the GCC Health Ministers Council, currently being held in Riyadh, Dr. Al-Obeidi said, “I chaired the previous thirty-ninth round in Kuwait, and today, I pass it to His Excellency the Saudi Minister of Health, Mr. Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb, May Allah bestow upon him guidance. And, I believe that this conference will positively impact on the health services in terms of upgrading, level and quality as this mirrors on the excellence path, which is the theme of the conference. Since measuring the health systems and performance will demonstrate the disorder and insufficiency areas and will pinpoint the points of weaknesses and strengths, and the challenge and problems hindering us. At the end of the conference, I am certain that the recommendations will abridge the gaps existed between the reality and aspirations.”
 
Similarly, Dr. Al-Obeidi expressed his wishes that those participating in the conference during the sessions held over two days’ time would make the most of the conference. He also wished that the delegation members of the GCC Health Ministers Council would profoundly discuss all the aspects, namely in relation to the quality, measuring the systems and preparing the plans necessary for upgrading the performance. 
 
Still, Dr. Al-Obeidi paid his condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salaman bin Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness (HRH) Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz; the Crown Prince and the Deputy Prime Minister, and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz; the Deputy Crown Prince Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, for the Arab and Islamic nations’ deceased, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, May Allah have mercy upon him and make the paradise his final abode. “His contributions and great support to the health field extended as far as the regional, gulf and international level,” he said. 
 
“Further,” Al-Obeidi continued, “I would like to congratulate the Saudi people on paying  allegiance to King Salaman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz and the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz. May Allah guide them to what makes the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people prosper.”
