Within the same vein, Ms. Al-Maleki extended her thanks and appreciation to the Director General of the Executive Board of the GCC Health Ministers Council and the Secretary General of the award, Dr. Tawfiq bin Ahmad Khoja, and the Supervisor General of the MOH Relations, Media and Health Awareness, Dr. Khaled bin Mohamed Marghalani; for their concerted efforts to ensure the success of the Award. Also, she praised their organization of a distinctive ceremony for handing out the awards, which has been held on the sidelines of the aforementioned conference. “They have shown keen interest in overcoming all the obstacles impeding access to the accurate information and credible news,” she said.

Finally, Ms. Al-Maleki called upon those in charge of the Award to embrace the winners of its first and second sessions, and to train them and benefit from their expertise, through developing a mechanism of gathering these winners and harnessing all capabilities to serve the objectives set for the award.
