It is worth mentioning that the payment of allowance started in the last month of Muharram.

All health directorates have prepared a list of entitlements of health practitioners eligible for the allowance up to 30/12/1435H as all dues have been paid in coordination with the MOH's finance department to the 9 provinces that have completed all payment requirements. Coordination is underway with the remaining 12 provinces to complete the requirements and finalize the payment procedures.

This was stated by the MOH's Official Spokesman, Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad Merghalani, who pointed out that the monthly lump sum decided for the health practitioner working in general hospitals and central laboratories amounts to SR 3,000, while SR 5,000 are decided for the health practitioner working in the specialized and referential hospitals.

Dr. Merghalani added that the supervision allowance will be paid to medical directors and heads of technical and health sections in the general, specialized and referential hospitals and central laboratories according to the applicable law to that effect.

The law and its executive regulation identified the allowance eligibility as per the following conditions: The employee should be performing one of the jobs enrolled in the health list and the post should be of a supervisory nature, namely (Medical director or head of a medical or health section). Also, the health practitioner should be involved in an actual work, in addition to his original work, and the section should be within the organizational structure.

It is noteworthy that the allowance will not be paid to more than one head for each medical or health section.
