Riyadh Governor to Launch Health Projects in Riyadh Tomorrow

His Royal Highness the Governor of Riyadh, Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, will launch tomorrow (Tuesday) a number of health projects in Riyadh region. The projects include al-Muzahimiyah Hospital, al-Artawiyah Hospital, primary healthcare centers as well as e-programs and systems. On this occasion, His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Alhayaza has extended his thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness the Governor of Riyadh, Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, May Allah bless him, for launching these new health projects. 

Meanwhile, His Excellency praised the support that the health services in the different regions of the Kingdom receives from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - May Allah bless him- for providing comprehensive curative and preventive healthcare throughout the regions of the Kingdom for the citizens of this noble country.

Within the same vein, His Excellency lauded the tireless efforts and continued support of His Royal Highness the Governor of Riyadh, Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, with the aim of improving quality of health services in Riyadh to provide all that ensures comfort for citizens, and renovates health services provided for him. 

As regards, the MOH official spokesperson, Dr. Khalid Marghlani, said that Prince Turki's auspices of this event embodies the rulers' keen interest in the health of the sons of the country, and their interest in harnessing all capabilities for improving the best healthcare services (whether preventive or curative) in all centers. 

He went on adding that these projects are reckoned an outstanding addition to the qualitative and quantitative development in the MOH's health facilities. This goes in line with the MOH's approach to providing health services with the highest quality measures worldwide, which offer a better chance to serve patients and care for them.

It's worth mentioning here that these projects include al-Muzahimiyah Public Hospital, with a capacity of 50 beds, and total cost of over SR 60 million, al-Artawiyah Hospital with a capacity of 50 beds and total cost of SR 60 million, as well as 42 healthcare centers in all cities and provinces of the region with a total cost of SR 201,060,000. 

The projects also included a number of e-programs and systems achieved by Riyadh Health Affairs General Directorate as part of the transformation to the e-government services, and improving quality of healthcare services, including Referral system (Ehalty), and Nutrition system.
