In the presence of His Excellency the Vice Minister for Health Affairs, Dr. Mansour bin Nasser Al-Howasi, and His Excellency the Vice Minister for Planning and Development, Dr. Muhammad Khoshaim, the MOH Agency for Therapeutic Services organized an honoring ceremony for His Excellency Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Mohammed Al-Hemeidi on the occasion of the end of his mandate as Deputy Minister of Health for Therapeutic Services.
In the beginning, Dr. Mansour Al-Howasi delivered an address, saying, "It might be one of the difficult moments when it comes to looking for words to describe a brother and a colleague. What can I say about Dr. Al-Hemeidi? Where to start, and where to end up? I have known him, accompanied him, and won his brotherhood through his long career at the Military Hospital and then at King Faisal Specialist Hospital. But, I was honored to be close to him when he came to work at King Fahad Medical City. His outstanding capabilities have led the Ministry of Health to appoint him as Deputy Minister of Health for Therapeutic Services. Dr. Al-Hemeidi was really nice colleague as far as his knowledge, work, morals, honesty performance and fidelity are concerned." In addition, Dr. Al-Howasi also welcomed Dr. Tarif Al-A‘ma as Deputy Minister of Health for Therapeutic Services and wished him success in his new duties.
On his part, Dr. Muhammad Khoshaim also delivered an address saying, "I would like to express my great thanks to Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Hemeidi for his efforts during his tenure as Deputy Minister of Health for Therapeutic Services. For many years, we have known him as a physician and a veteran scholar; we worked together, and saw how he is used to showing utmost care for his patients. When he became a colleague in the Ministry, we were able to see his administrative capabilities. I had always had the impression that I attend early to my work in the Ministry, until I found out that Dr. Al-Hemeidi attends even earlier; thanks to Allah in the first place, and to his commitment to his work as he was giving all his time to the Ministry."
Concluding, Dr. Khoshaim wished good luck for Dr. Tarif Al-A‘ma in his new duties at the MOH's Agency for Therapeutic Services. All the more, Dr. Al-Hemeidi, the honoree, delivered an address expressing his thanks to His Excellency the Acting Minister of Health, Adel Bin Mohamed Faqih, His Excellency the Vice Minister for Health Affairs, Dr. Mansour bin Nasser Al-Howasi, His Excellency the Vice Minister for Planning and Development, Dr. Muhammad Khoshaim, and his colleagues in the agency for their support, cooperation and love. This has been right reflected on the results achieved, meanwhile expressing his pride of what has been achieved by the MOH Agency for Therapeutic Services with regard to organizing the transactions inside the agency electronically.
Dr. Al-Hemeidi wished for his colleague and successor, Dr. Tarif Al-A‘ma, all the best of luck with his new job, stressing that he will be happy to offer him his consultancy and support at any time if he needs to.
On his part, Dr. Tarif Al-A‘ma said, "I am determined to give a speech to thank Dr. Al-Hemeidi, as a citizen, in the first place, who has benefited - and is still benefiting - from the MOH's services where Dr. Al-Hemeidi has played a pivotal role that nobody can deny (unless he is ill-natured). I would like express my great thanks to Dr. Al-Hemeidi for the efforts he exerted and the outstanding duties he undertook during his work tenure at the MOH."
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the honoree received the gifts and memorial shields presented to him by the MOH Agency for Therapeutic Services and its affiliated departments.
