Under the auspices of His Excellency the Acting Minister of Health, Eng. Adel bin Mohamed Faqih, the honoring ceremony for the winners of the Health Award: “Create and Inspire” will be held tomorrow, Thursday, at Jeddah Hilton Hotel.
This Award is meant to come up with ideas and creative projects, and to promote the culture of community participation, through motivating all community members, regardless of their segments, to participate in providing ideas and proposals; in an endeavor to answer the question: how to adopt an easy and yet pleasant, healthy lifestyle, and to find good approaches to attain such a target, which contributes to finding solutions to the health problems that have significantly increased chronic diseases, such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension and high cholesterol.
It is worth mentioning that the Award aims at reaching, via the social networks, not less than 5 million people among the society segments, to compete to answer the aforementioned question, by introducing their projects and practical ideas, to be applied on the ground, by leaning on the support and potentials of the community’s experts and devotees.
Furthermore, the Award is meant to motivate the society members to submit at least 2,000 ideas, proposals and innovative ideas, given that participation in the award is open for both citizens and residents all over the Kingdom, who have ideas and projects that may contribute to the improvement of a healthy lifestyle. Besides, the winners will be determined via an e-voting system by all community members, in addition to the criteria of the arbitration committee’s members, who are concerned with the health affairs and creative ideas.
