Jahdali Appointed Deputy Chief of TCU at MoH

​The Acting Health Minister, Adel Fakeih has established a specialized unit at the Ministry of Health, under his Headship entitle "Talent Capabilities Unit"(TCU). He appointed Dr. Emad Ali Al Jahdaly Deputy Head of the unit, according to an announcement by the MoH today.


"Establishing the unit and the appointment are part of the ministry overall transformational move for more efficiency and effectiveness of its human capital resources, " the announcement said.
Commenting on his appintment, Dr Al Jahdaly said: " It is great honor but it is a delecate mission. However, the new unit under the minister leadership and guidance will work to assess and close the talent gap at MOH,".
He added: " This is done through deep dive need s assessment and recommending innovative solutions through established systems within the ministry .Also, the unit will work on the efficient utilization of the existing talents in the ministry so best benefits can be yield of all this high caliber manpower," Dr. Al Jahdaly said.
Dr. Al Jahdaly is a consultant physician in occupational medicine who received his medical residency training at University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, one of most prestigious Canadian universities .
He holds both fellowships, one from the Royal college Of physicians and surgeons of Canada and the other from the American College of occupational and Environmental medicine.
Dr. Al Jahdaly has extensive professional and administrative experience for over 25 years in senior positions, at prestigious Saudi organizations. They include Saudi Aramco, King Abdullah University for Science and Technology, Umm Al Qura University, and the last at King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah as director general.
As part of his continuous professional development, he attended high level training programs. They included Executive Management Development Program at IMD University in Switzerland in 2007, Aramco Program for Strategic Development at Strategic and International Studies Institute ( CSIS ) in Washington DC, USA in 2008. He is a members of many national and international professional societies and an active committee member at the International Labor Organization ( ILO )
