Full-Fledged Preparations at Namira General Hospital in Arafat

The Director of Namira General Hospital, Dr. Talaat Abdul-Hameed Zayed, underscored readiness of the hospital to provide health services for the pilgrims, adding that the hospital, located in Arafat, will start working as of 8/12/1435 H (corresponding to 2/10/2014) at 8:00 AM, up to 14/12/1435 H (corresponding to  8/10/2014) at 8:00 PM. 
 
He revealed that the hospital has a capacity of 90 beds divided as follows: 12 beds for intensive care units, 6 beds for intermediate care, 6 beds for heart care, 2 beds for sunstroke rooms, 2 beds for isolation rooms, 6 beds for emergency rooms including 1 bed for cardiopulmonary recovery, in addition to 62 inpatient beds. He added that the hospital has allocated 25 beds for medical evacuation; a number that can be increased. 
 
Within the same vein, Dr. Zayed uncovered that the hospital has 17 clinics, including 8 general clinics, and 9 specialized ones, including a room for gastrointestinal tract endoscopy. He went on to say that they have received the medical cadre participating in this year's Hajj season amounting to 170 employees, including physicians, engineers, nurses, technicians and statisticians, and administrative staff.  He pointed out that the hospital has also four modern dialysis devices and two thermal-steam sterilization rooms.
