MOH's Early Preparations for this Year-Hajj Season

Within the framework of the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) early preparations for the 1435H-Hajj season, the fourth meeting of the Preparatory Hajj Committees has been held, today “Monday”, under the chairmanship of His Excellency the Vice Minister for Planning and Development and Chairman of the Preparatory Hajj Committees, Dr. Muhammad Khoshaim. Attended by all members of the mentioned committees, the meeting was held at the Ministry’s headquarters.
 
This has been announced by the Supervisor-General of Hajj and Umrah Health Services, Dr. Hussain Ghannam, who indicated that the meeting touched upon the latest preparations of committees participating in the MOH's 1435H-Hajj plan. He pointed out that the meeting also discussed ways to meet the demands and needs of all MOH Hajj-related committees.
 
“The gathering also endorsed the medical and non-medical replacement at the Holy Sites and Madinah, and reviewed the workflow of the committees in regions, in addition to the field follow-up process,” said Dr. Ghannam.
 
He went on adding that the meeting discussed also the updates of the Workforce Program in Hajj, whose preliminary version is expected to be finished during the coming month of Sha‘ban. Besides, the participants in the meeting underlined the importance of securing all the requirements and supplies of medicines and medical supplies and equipments.
 
It is worth mentioning that the fourth meeting of the Preparatory Hajj Committees is part of the MOH's ongoing meetings series, meant to ensure the provision of all demands and capabilities; in an endeavor to provide the pilgrims with the medical, curative and preventive services, and review the reports submitted by heads of the committees, as well as following up their progress so far. The meeting discusses all needs of the Hajj-related committees, in addition to reviewing the workflow and what have been accomplished of projects and the adoption of equipment.
