Dr. Khader: “The Unified E-Employment Program Will Be Applied on the Self-Employment Programs”
17 March 2014
Stemming from the Department’s target to change all its transactions into electronic forms, the Supervisor-General of Self-Employment Programs at the Ministry of Health (MOH), Dr. Khalid Khader, has pointed out that the Department is currently applying the Unified E-Employment Program on the various Self-Employment Programs at health affairs general directorates in the Kingdom’s regions and governorates, via the unified announcement about the vacant and contract jobs opportunities.

Dr. Khader highlighted that the Unified E-Employment Program achieves the principles of justice, equity and transparency amid all applicants for the announced job vacancies, through its application of an electronic sorting and differentiation mechanism that uses unified differentiation elements. “The applicant will be capable of viewing the details of jobs, choosing whatever he desires, and learning about the stages and procedures of application and recruitment through the system directly after signing in the MOH Portal using his/her account,” Dr. Khader expounded. Furthermore, he underlined that the most prominent feature that distinguishes the e-employment system is its ability to finish the procedures of nomination and assignment quickly, taking into account the accuracy factor.

Dr. Khader went on adding that the Self-Employment Programs General Department has announced the availability of 1,935 vacant and contract job opportunities for physicians, pharmacists, non-physician specialists, nurses, technicians and other administrative officers, at some hospitals in Madinah, Jazan, Al-Qassim, Al-Baha, Najran, Al-Jouf, Hail, Hafr Al-Batin, Jeddah, Taif and Al-Qarayyat regions.

“The Efficiency factor is the main criterion for nomination of applicants for these jobs, according to their wishes,” said Dr. Khader, indicating that this is carried out as part of the institutional work of the Department, through applying a unified employment mechanism and differentiation points that have been reviewed by all health affairs general directorates at the Kingdom’s regions and governorates, taking into account the quality standards in all procedures to ensure excellence in performance.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry has called upon all those interested in these jobs, who hold suitable qualifications, to apply via the E-Employment Services on the MOH Portal. Applicants can apply for a period of two weeks starting from Wednesday, 5th March, 2014 (corresponding to 4th Joumada Al-Oula, 1435H), given that such vacancies are exclusively available for Saudis. Over and above, the E-Employment System is a high-tech mechanism that can be accessed by applicants wishing to join the MOH staff through its Portal. The applicants can submit their employment applications online through this system, after creating their own accounts on the MOH Portal, without a need to attend in person to the Ministry’s headquarters.
