Most Cases Injured in Madinah Fire Healed and Left Hospitals

The Madinah Health Affairs General Directorate announced that most cases injured in Madinah firing, which occurred on Saturday afternoon, 8th February, 2013 (corresponding to 8th Rabie' Al-Akher, 1435H) at a hotel in the central area near the Holy Mosque, have been completely healed and left the hospital after receiving the proper medical care, and physicians emphasized that their health status is good. Moreover, the Directorate announced that only 3 cases are still in the IC unit, but their health status is reassuring, all praise be to Allah.
 
Within the same vein, the Madinah Health Affairs General Directorate has pointed out that once the fire broke out; all ambulatory teams have been put on high-alert as they transmitted all injured cases to Al-Ansar Hospital. As many as 136 cases suffering from burns and suffocation were reported while 13 persons others passed away and transported to Al-Miqat Hospital, May Allah have mercy upon them.
 
Furthermore, the Directorate highlighted that His Excellency the Minister of Health Dr. Al-Rabeeah was in direct contact with the Director General of Madinah Health Affairs, as he was keen to follow up the evacuation processes, the transfer of the injured cases, and the provision of the health services to them hourly.
 
We pray for Al-Mighty Allah to bestow upon the injured cases speedy recovery. Besides, we pray for Him to have mercy upon the deceased persons and to make the Paradise their final abode, as well as conferring patience and fortitude upon their families.
