Dr. Al–Rabeeah Signs 26 Contracts for Health Projects Costing Over SR 3 Billion

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Bin AbdulAziz Al-Rabeeah, signed a contract this noon, 26th of January, 2014, (corresponding to 25th Rabie I, 1435H). The contract is for various health projects covering many regions of the Kingdom, at total cost of SR  3.687.988.278.48.
 
Signing these contracts, it is noteworthy, is pursuant to the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, may Allah save him, meant to promote the level of health services and provide healthcare to citizens. These projects, besides, serve as a kind of investment of the generous support granted for the health sector by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and His Royal Highness the Second Deputy Prime Minister, may Allah save them.
 
Dr. Al-Rabeeah emphasized that these contracts are part of the contracts signed by the Ministry of Health; which are a continuation of health projects carried out by the Ministry within the framework of providing medical supplies, medications, nutrition and other requirements in the various health facilities all over the Kingdom’s regions and provinces to provide healthcare to citizens. Also, the contracts are aimed to serve patients and gain their satisfaction in order to meet the aspirations of the Saudi Leaders, and fulfill the medical needs of citizens.
 
Moreover, Dr. Al-Rabeeah demonstrated that the Ministry works hard to improve its services and promote its health projects to be commensurate with its strategic plan within the framework of the National Project for Integrated and Comprehensive Health Care; which is based on the principles of justice, inclusiveness and equity in terms of distribution and accessibility of health services.
 
On this occasion, Dr. Al-Rabeeah expressed his utmost gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and His Royal Highness the Second Deputy Prime Minister, may Allah save them; for the constant support to health services, which embodies the Leaders’ keenness to sustain the welfare of citizens of the Kingdom of Humanity and provide proper healthcare.
 
The Minister concluded his speech supplicating to Allah Almighty to save this country, its Leaders, and its people, perpetuate its blessing of stability, security and prosperity, make our deeds purely for Allah, and grant us all what we aspire to, thus serving this beloved country and its noble citizens.
 
The contracts include signing a medical gases contract at a cost of about SR 86.980.525.36 with Abdullah Hashim Industrial Gases Company, and cooked nutritionals contract for King Fahad Central Hospital, Ohod Al-Masarha Hospital, Al-Mawsem Hospital and Al-Twal Hospital in Jazan Region at a total cost of SR 77.608.509.99 with Gold Catering Company.
 
In addition, the contracts included signing 24 contracts for medication competition (Gulf Medical Company and Nupco), serology and vaccines at a total cost of SR 3.523.399.243.46, divided as follows: 4 contracts with Saudi International Trading Company Ltd, 4 contracts with Saqalah Medical Stores, 3 contracts with Salehiya Medical, 3 contracts with Farouk & Maamoun Tamer&  Co, and 2 contracts with Banaja Holdings. That is to be added to signing a contract with Kamal Imports Office, Ahmed Mohammed Abdulwahab Naghi, Abdulrehman Algosaibi Company, Banaja Holdings, and Specialized Medical Solutions Qatar Company.
