Dr. Al-Rabeeah to Sign Contracts for Health Projects at a Cost of Over SR 4 Billion Next Sunday

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, will sign next Sunday, 12th January, 2014 (corresponding to 11th Rabee‘ Al-Awwal, 1435H) a set of contracts for health projects at a total cost of more than SR 4 billion; in an endeavor to serve patients at all facilities of the Ministry of Health (MOH) all over the Kingdom’s Regions.
 
Within the same vein, the MOH Spokesman, Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad Marghalani, has pointed out that these contracts encompass projects concerning construction, replacement, development of the infrastructure, information and communication technology (ICT), ambulances, medical supplies for hospitals and laboratories, blood transfusion services, artificial kidney  and nuclear medicine.
 
Dr. Marghalani went on adding that these contracts come as part of the health projects that the Ministry is implementing all over the Kingdom’s regions and governorates; in an endeavor to serve the patient and gain his satisfaction, in a manner that achieves the aspirations of the Rulers, May Allah protect them, meanwhile meeting the health needs of the citizens, in line with the National Project for the Integrated and Comprehensive Health Care, which is based on the principles of justice, inclusiveness and equality in the distribution of health services and their accessibility.
