19 December 2013
The Self-Employment Programs General Department at the Ministry of Health (MOH) has recently organized a workshop under the title: “E-Employment Procedures on Self-Employment Programs”, with participation of 180 persons from all health affairs general directorates, numbered 20 ones, at the Kingdom’s regions and governorates. The workshop lasted for 3 days and it was divided into six workshops. They were held in Riyadh, the Eastern Region, and Jeddah with a rate of 25-35 trainees in each workshop.

The Supervisor-General of Self-Employment Programs, Dr. Khalid bin Khader, has pointed out that the Department intends to apply the Unified E-Employment Program to all Self-Employment Programs at health affairs general directorates in the Kingdom’s regions and governorates. Moreover, these workshops aim at upgrading the capabilities of employees at directorates and hospitals, which apply the Self-Employment Program, as well as training them on the unified e-recruitment procedures.

Dr. Khader went on adding that the Unified E-Employment Program achieves the principles of justice, equity and transparency amid all applicants for the announced job vacancies, through the application of an electronic sorting and differentiation mechanism that uses unified differentiation elements. “The applicant will be capable of viewing the details of jobs and learning about the stages and procedures of application and employment  through the system directly via the applicant's account on the MOH Portal,” Dr. Khader expounded.

Furthermore, he highlighted that the most prominent feature that distinguishes the E-Employment System is its ability to finish the procedures of nomination and assignment swiftly, taking into account the accuracy factor.
