MOH Supplies Namira General Hospital with 4 Dialysis Machines

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has supplied Namira General Hospital located at Mount Arafat with 4 modern dialysis machines in order to serve the pilgrims.
 
The Director of Namira General Hospital, Dr. Talaat Abdul-Hameed Zayed, disclosed that there are 9 specialized clinics in the hospital, including a room for gastrointestinal endoscopy, and 8 general clinics to serve the pilgrims.
 
Dr. Zayed further highlighted that Namira General Hospital will start working as from 8/12/1434H (corresponding to 13/10/2103) up to 14/12/1434H (corresponding to 19/10/2013), adding that the hospital has a capacity of 90 beds, divided into 31 beds for men's internal medicine section, 31 beds for women's internal medicine section, 2 isolation rooms, two sunstroke rooms, a 12-bed room for sunstroke, 12 beds for intensive care units, 6 beds for intermediate care units, and 6 beds for emergency cases, including a bed for cardiopulmonary recovery.
 
Moreover, Dr. Zayed reported that the hospital is stuffed by 45 general and specialized practitioners, 5 engineers, 105 nurses and technicians, and 22 administrative and statistics staff, highlighting that the building can hold 208 people with men, 150 with women.
 
With regard to the medical evacuation, Dr. Zayed confirmed that the hospital holds 25 beds and it can hold more, in addition to a sterilization room, which comprises thermal steam sterilization equipment.
