The Ministry of Health’s (MOH) Media and Health Awareness Information Center will host Dr. Nesreen tomorrow, Monday 30/9/2012, (corresponding to 24/11/1434) from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. via the toll free number 8002494444. She will address the issue of epidemic and infectious diseases, and also provide advice to pilgrims regarding protection measures against them.
It is worth mentioning that the MOH Media and Health Awareness Information Center initiated the (Pilgrims' health is our concern) service on Sunday 29/9/2013, (corresponding to 23/11/1434H), for the tenth consecutive year. The service is conducted via the center’s toll free number: 8002494444 and MOH twitter account. The center will host on a daily basis a selection of consultants and specialists in different health specialties; in order to answer all concerns and questions of citizens and residents intending to perform Hajj this year. The service provides information about the required Hajj regulations for pilgrims, as well as guidelines during Hajj.
Moreover, the center provides pilgrims with advice and guidelines about the importance of taking the essential and mandatory vaccines, and following prescriptions and other health matters of their concern.
Within the framework of efforts to sustain the wellbeing and safety of pilgrims, citizens and residents; the MOH constantly exerts efforts to provide awareness activities, guidelines and medical advice.
