The Ministry of Health (MOH) has stressed that the scheduled operations and the appointments at the outpatient clinics, as well as work at the emergency departments and hospitalization sections in all MOH facilities, will proceed normally on Sunday, 22/9/2013 (corresponding to 11/16/1434 H); the day which coincidences, according to the Royal Directive, with an official holiday.
Within the same vein, His Excellency the Vice Minister for Health Affairs, Dr. Mansour Al-Howasi, has issued an urgent circular in this regard to all directors of the MOH medical and specialized hospitals and the health affairs directorates in the Kingdom’s regions and governorates; in order to put this circular into force. The MOH intends, by so doing, to facilitate the best interest of patients, lest they should be affected by delaying their scheduled appointments of operations, outpatient clinics or dialysis.
