MOH Information Center Hosts Physicians in “Seoff” and Launches “Hello, Healthy Ramadan” Starting Ramadan

For the third consecutive week and as a part of the activities of the summer health awareness program, the Media and Health Awareness Information Center at the Ministry of Health (MOH), hosts Dr. Sana' Filimban, the Director of MOH’s AIDS Program and Supervisor of Immunology Department, on Sunday 7th July, 2013 (corresponding to 28th Sha‘ban, 1434H) from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.via the Center’s toll free number: 8002494444 and the MOH account on Twitter: @SAUDIMOH; in order to answer all callers’ enquiries.
Furthermore, the Center will host Dr. Nahed bint Ghazi Al-Qadri, a Senior Specialist in Therapeutic Feeding, on Monday 8th July, 2013 (corresponding to 29th Sha‘ban, 1434H) from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in order to answer the public enquiries on the most hazardous health issue in the summer, given that the most cases of food poisoning occur during travel, due to changing dietary habits and eating most meals in restaurants.
As a part of the activities of the Service “Hello, Healthy Ramadan” launched by MOH for the consecutive tenth year, the Information Center hosts on the first day of Ramadan Dr. Yahya bin Muhammad Abu-Sab‘ah, a Consultant in Respiratory Diseases from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. via the Center’s toll-free number: 8002494444 and the MOH accounton Twitter: @SAUDIMOH; especially the asthmatics and the otherpatients suffering from respiratory problems have great difficulty in regulating their medicines and sprayswhen fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.
Over and above, the Center will host Dr. Mazen bin Adnan Barry, a Consultant in Infectious Diseases, on Thursday 11th July, 2013 (Corresponding to 3rd Ramadan, 1434H) from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in order to answer callers’ questions on all matters related to the novel Coronavirus (MERS-CoV), the other infections and the diseases of the summer, as well as providing public with the most prominent tips enablingthem to perform fasting without health problems, Allah Willing. It is worth mentioning that frequent questions are put forwardduring this blessed monthon the ways of regulating and taking medication, especially from people with chronic and infectious diseases.
