As a part of the health awareness programs and activities carried out by the Ministry of Health (MOH) throughout the year; in an endeavor to educate all society members whatever their groups or classes, as well as promoting the healthy lifestyles, and within the framework of the awareness events of the National Diabetes Awareness Program launched recently by the Ministry, the MOH Media and Health Awareness Information Center, hosts tomorrow (Monday) 17/6/2013 (corresponding to 8/8/1434H) Dr. Safeyyah Al-Sherbieny, a Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes at King Fahad Medical City (KFMC).
It is noteworthy that the communication will be available via the Center’s toll free number: 8002494444 over the period from 1:00 till 3:00 pm. Dr. Safeyyah is to answer all calls and enquiries on diabetes, provide the medical tips and guidelines for diabetics and others, and identify diabetes, its types, causes, symptoms, and ways of treatment and prevention against it.
