MOH Security and Safety General Department Trains 20 Employees for its Hospitals Protection

ctargeting safety supervisors in hospitals. Twenty trainers, representing a number of hospitals all over the Kingdom’s regions, participated in the course which lasted for three days. The course included the safety basics such as: safety and fire protection policies and procedures, fire systems, recording risks system, and safety standards. It is noteworthy that the course included a rehearsalon fire extinguishing and using breathing devices
.
The MOH Director General of Security and Safety, Eng. Anas Al-Zaid, has pointed out that this course comes within the framework of MOH preparations for the hospitals assessmentby the Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI). Furthermore, He indicated that this course is reckoned the first of its kind within the activities of the Security and Safety General Department.
 
Al-Zaid has underscored the MOH’s keenness and pursuit to promote the safety level at its facilities, through two main pillars: the ongoing training and follow-up.Therefore, a strategic plan has been developed to achieve this target.Finally Eng. Al-Zaid called upon everyone the importance of adherence to safety regulations, particularly in hospitals.
