Religious Awareness Department Organizes the Annual Meeting of Religious Awareness Departments in Regions and Governorates

The Religious Awareness Department at the Ministry of Health (MOH) has recently organized in Riyadh the Annual Meeting of Religious Awareness Departments in regions and governorates as well as a workshop on the development of the Policies and Procedures Guide of these departments.
 
The Director of MOH Religious Awareness Department, Mr. Ali bin Suleiman Al-Jamhan, pointed out that the meeting discussed the ways of improving the level of work performance in religious awareness departments at the health affairs directorates located in regions and governorates.
 
Then, Mr. Al-Jamhan added that the meeting covered also a range of topics related to development of work at the Religious Awareness Department, including the strategic plan and development of the Policies and Procedures Guide, with the aim of facilitating procedures applicable in all religious awareness departments.
“We discussed also a proposal concerning the system of volunteer work inside the religious awareness departments and reviewed the views of attendants about its advantages and disadvantages,” said Mr. Al-Jamhan.Mr. Al-Jamhan added, “A workshop on the development of the Policies and Procedures Guide was run on the sidelines of the meeting. In the same vein, we discussed the visions, massages, values, and objectives, and had a look at the internal organizational structure of the Religious Awareness Department. Also, we gathered proposals from the attendants concerning the structure, and managed to come up with recommendations that are to contribute, Allah willing, to pushing forward the work march at the Religious Awareness Department.”
 
It is worth mentioning that this meeting was held at the direction of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, that aim to develop work performance at all MOH facilities and departments of all levels, and improve performance levels, in a manner that keeps pace with the directives of the Ministry that aim to provide a high-standard level of services for patients and gain their satisfaction. That's to be added to maintaining safety and health of patients, with the aim achieving the slogan: “Patient First”.
