Dr. Khoshaim Thanks the Leadership for Allocation of SR 15 Billion for Supporting Health Services

His Excellency the Vice Minister of Health for Planning and Development, Dr. Mohammed bin Hamza Khoshaim, has expressed his deepest thanks and appreciation for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, May Allah support him, his Crown Prince, His Excellency Second Deputy Prime Minister, for allocating more than SR 15 billion for the construction of (22) medical projects, including (19) medical complexes and (3) high-level centers for growth and behavioral disorders of children that provide care and treatment for patients, as well as the approval of some developmental programs for the facilities of the Ministry of Health (MOH).
 
Dr. Khoshaim added that the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, May Allah protect him, comes as part of the interest of his royal highness and his limitless support for the health sector, and his constant keenness to provide the best current and future health care services. This is through increasing the numbers of health facilities which contribute to providing the health, curative, and preventive services in all the Kingdom's regions and governorates. 
 
He went on to point out that the wise leadership does not spare an effort with read to overcoming all difficulties; in order to speed establishing the health facilities and building and finding plots of land for them. This was highlighted through the confiscation decision of a number of plots of land; in order to erect a number of health projects on them, and passing the approval of  a number of  developmental programs for the MOH'S facilities. This is in order to realize our dear citizens' aspirations, meet their health needs, and deliver the health services for all smoothly and easily.
 
He further made clear that the Ministry of Health (MOH) and along with the directives of the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, his royal highness the Heir Apparent, and his royal highness the Second Deputy Prime Minister, May Allah protect them, is wholeheartedly keen to provide the health services in a manner that achieves inclusiveness, quality, justice, and accessibility to the services. Therefore, it was his royal highness decision in terms of adopting the self-operation method in all the MOH's medical centers and hospitals, and considering the demand of the Ministry of Health (MOH) transforming from earlier operation method into the self-operation method with the Ministry of Finance, approving a number of operation programs to develop the facilities of the Ministry of Health (MOH); as part of the developmental plans aiming at improving the level of the service provided to patients, in way that conforms with the global health measures, which we all seek to achieve.
